My Elementary School English Diary: 10 Entries

Entry 1: My First Day of Elementary School

Today was my first day of elementary school. I was so excited to finally come to the \"big kid\" school! I met my new teacher, Mrs. Smith, and my classmates. We played some icebreaker games and sang some songs. I even made some new friends. I can't wait to learn more and have more fun at school!

Entry 2: Learning About Animals

Today in class, we learned about different kinds of animals. We learned about mammals, birds, reptiles, and more. Mrs. Smith showed us pictures and videos of each animal and we had to guess which group they belonged to. It was so fun! I can't wait to learn more about animals.

Entry 3: My Favorite Book

My favorite book is \"The Cat in the Hat\" by Dr. Seuss. I love the colorful illustrations and the silly rhymes. I even dressed up as the Cat in the Hat for Halloween last year! I like reading this book over and over again.

Entry 4: Halloween Party

Today we had a Halloween party at school. We wore costumes and played games like bobbing for apples and pin the nose on the pumpkin. We also got to eat lots of candy and treats. I had so much fun with my friends!

Entry 5: My Family

In class today, we talked about families. We drew pictures of our family and talked about who was in our family. I have a mom, a dad, and a younger brother. We love to play board games and watch movies together.

Entry 6: My Favorite Sport

My favorite sport is soccer. I love running around and kicking the ball. Sometimes, my family and I play soccer together in the park. I hope to join the school soccer team when I'm older.

Entry 7: Learning About the Seasons

Today in class, we learned about the different seasons. We talked about the weather, activities, and holidays that happen in each season. My favorite season is summer because I get to go swimming and have picnics outside.

Entry 8: Field Trip to the Zoo

Today we went on a field trip to the zoo. We saw lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!) We also saw monkeys, elephants, and giraffes. It was so cool to see all of the animals up close.

Entry 9: Music Class

Today in music class, we learned a new song. It was called \"Mary Had a Little Lamb.\" We learned the words and even played it on the recorder. I can't wait to learn more songs in music class.

Entry 10: End of the School Year

Today was the last day of school. I can't believe how much I've learned and how much fun I've had this year. I'm sad to say goodbye to my teacher and my friends, but I'm excited for summer vacation. I can't wait to see what next year brings!
